Universal Cinema (formerly AMC Universal CityWalk) at Universal CityWalk Hollywood in Universal City, California, is an 18-screen premium movie theater with a dedicated IMAX® auditorium. The project involved a major multi-million-dollar remodel transforming it into a state-of-the-art venue with luxury power-reclining leather seats, Christie RGB laser projection (including 4K laser in IMAX), Dolby Atmos immersive sound, perforated screens, and a 'black box' auditorium design for minimal distractions.

Additional upgrades included redesigned lobbies with sunset-inspired colors, pop art elements, a sunburst chandelier, and streamlined concessions.

 

Electrical work encompassed comprehensive upgrades to support new projection systems, advanced audio, interior/exterior lighting, low-voltage systems, and related infrastructure
